As the year gets underway, you may well be considering which new year’s resolutions to take seriously, and which might need some realistic rethinking. We know one area of your life that we can certainly help you focus on: Your golf game.
When it comes to getting better at golf, it takes practice and dedication. It’s also important to start on the right foot with the best equipment in your bag, and today we want to give you a grand reveal in the form of the latest TaylorMade Qi35 drivers.
What makes this one of the most impressive golf drivers of 2025? Let’s get right into it…
A bold design
We first want to shout about how amazing this club looks. TaylorMade has naturally built on the look of their Qi10 drivers when creating the Qi35. While the former club spelled out the initial T on the sole through a faded pattern of silver lines, this year’s model has a studded grid pattern that covers the sole and wraps into the crown on the head. A trio of lines on the sole all points to the centre of the clubhead, and when you’re standing over the ball at address, a perimeter pattern is etched into the back of the club to inspire confidence ahead of your shot. This club looks fantastic, and the tech under the hood really means business.

So, the Qi35 drivers look good and it feels good in our hands when we swing it, but how does it benefit our tee shots? We’ll cover all the juicy tech highlights in our video review:
The Qi35 range features four distinct models. The core Qi35 driver is the one most golfers will get on well with. TaylorMade’s Twist Face and the Thru-Slot Speed Pocket that sits behind it allow for an efficient transfer of energy between club and ball for excellent distance down the fairway. The driver naturally has a low centre of gravity to inspire greater launch, and with a high MOI rating, you’ll be making some very accurate strikes off the tee.
If you’re a low-handicap player and you’re looking for something that will help take your game to the next level, you’ll be interested in the Qi35 LS driver. This low-spin offering from TaylorMade has a smaller, more compact head shape that allows for a more aerodynamic movement that will compliment players with faster swing speeds. Three moveable weights allow you to customize your desired shot shape.
Should you be a high-handicap player and you’re looking for a new driver that will give you more confidence and control over your game, the Qi35 Max will be the club for you. This driver features a lot of the same great tech as the standard model but with a large 34g tungsten weight on the back of the clubhead, the Max offers the most forgiveness in the range.
If you have a naturally slow swing speed, the Max Lite is the club in the Qi35 range that will most appeal to you. This is a lightweight variation of the Max that will allow you to swing faster through the ball to have your shots landing further down the fairway. This club has a slightly lighter 24g tungsten weight that makes the club more maneuverable while still allowing it to pack a punch.
How to get the best from this driver
